About the Project

Media globalization is giving everyone a chance to create and contribute to the public media sphere, if they have an Internet connection that is. This digital story and written explanation argue that access to the internet and media is unequal across the globe which directly affects the type of media we are all subjected to. It explores what media globalization means to those who are well off and have easy access. It also looks into what lack of access means for more developing countries and how it effects their contributions to the global media sphere.
